OUR TASK
CNBetter Media was white-labeled by LIQUID SOUL to serve as account director for the inaugural Celebration Bowl. With no existing reputation to lean on, the client needed to build excitement, drive ticket sales, and position the event as a must-attend cultural and sporting experience.
OUR SOLUTION
We launched the campaign with a press conference to introduce the Celebration Bowl to media and fans alike, targeting both general market and African-American/urban press outlets. To amplify awareness, we secured a national media partnership with Black Enterprise that included online features and social media integration. We also recruited celebrities and sports influencers—ranging from NFL players to entertainment personalities—to generate buzz across multiple platforms. Finally, we activated grassroots community outreach, connecting with sororities, fraternities, alumni associations, churches, and youth organizations to promote ticket sales and group attendance.
