Known as the “go-to” girl amongst industry peers and colleagues, Candace is an expert PR & visibility strategist who knows what it takes to get seen. Her evolution of success throughout her professional journey has transitioned her from being every child’s favorite 8th grade language arts teacher to being a celebrated radio show producer and now a highly respected industry professional and speaker with social influence, valued relationships and a stellar reputation.

Kayla Tucker Adams is an award-winning public relations executive, professional speaker, and writer with more than 20 years of experience in communications and public relations. The founder and chief strategist of KTA Media Group - a full-service strategic communications firm – and managing partner of CNBetter Media alongside Candace Ledbetter - Kayla is regarded as one of the best in the business. Kayla has worked with bestselling authors, movie producers, corporations, school districts, numerous celebrities, global nonprofit organizations, including March of Dimes, and some of the most influential people in the world, including Oprah Winfrey and T.D. Jakes.

A highly sought-after public relations strategist, Kayla and her rockstar team have secured features for their clients in top-tier international, national, regional and local media outlets. Formerly the senior director of public relations for T.D. Jakes, Kayla built and managed the team for nearly six years, leading PR efforts for movies, conferences, festivals, churches, and books that became New York Times best sellers.

Kayla has received many awards including the 2022 Patricia L. Tobin Media Professional Award presented by National Association of Black Journalists, Texas School Public Relations Association Star Awards, and Woman of the Year by Greater North Dallas Business and Professional Women’s Club. A Presidential Scholar and honor graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/Television Broadcasting and a Master of Science in Business from Amberton University.

Kayla is a board member for March of Dimes and Dallas-Ft. Worth Association of Black Journalists, and a charter member of the Chi Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

A life enriched with love and family, Kayla is the wife to her husband, Chris, and they are the proud parents of their miracle daughter, Brooklyn.

Britney Acuff

Britney is a seasoned marketing consultant with over a decade of experience in developing high-impact campaigns for major brands and nonprofits. Holding a Master’s in Marketing from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, she has worked with renowned clients like the National Urban League, Bravo, Gilead, Cartoon Network, and Live Nation. Her expertise lies in crafting marketing and social media strategies that deeply resonate with target audiences.

With a background in psychology, Britney brings a unique consumer-driven approach, understanding what motivates audiences and translating that into emotionally compelling campaigns. Passionate about digital marketing, she stays ahead of social media trends and analytics, helping brands build a strong digital presence and authentic brand voice in an ever-evolving landscape.

Jackie O. Asare

Sr. PR & Visibility Strategist

Jackie O. Asare is a veteran publicist and brand strategist with more than two decades of experience in film, television, music, and culture. She has spearheaded national campaigns for major studios, global brands, and cultural institutions, building a reputation for amplifying diverse voices and shaping stories that resonate. Jackie began her career representing musical artists before expanding into full-scale editorial campaigns for film studios, record labels, nonprofits, and small businesses making a big impact. She has led campaigns for Google, Peacock, Paramount, Apple TV+, Disney, Magnolia Pictures, Fox Searchlight, Macy’s, ASCAP, BMI, the National Black Arts Festival, 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Future Foundation, and Essence Festival. With a proven track record of cultural impact and creative strategy, Jackie continues to help brands and creatives connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

Quin Jackson

A visionary entrepreneur and dynamic manager, Q brings a fresh, refined edge to the entertainment industry. His path into public relations was sparked by a keen-eyed friend who saw what many would come to recognize: a natural leader with the power to shape culture and elevate brands.

From the control room to the boardroom, Q has mastered the art of studio management; balancing creative energy with operational precision. His leadership style is bold yet strategic, driving performance, streamlining workflows, and empowering teams to produce their best work.

Behind the scenes of major productions like Revolt Summit, Invest Fest, and Essence Festival, Q’s event expertise shines. He’s built a reputation for leading high-stakes projects with calm confidence, coordinating complex logistics while keeping creative vision front and center.

As a PR strategist, Q crafts more than campaigns, he creates narratives that resonate. His knack for storytelling, mentoring talent, and building trusted client relationships has made him a sought-after voice in media and beyond.

When he’s not running the show, Q taps into his personal creative flow capturing content with his DJI Osmo Pocket 3, blending cinematic quality with his signature point of view. Relentlessly driven and intentionally sharp, Q lives up to the name “Quintessential”, a standard of excellence defined by innovation, influence, and elevated execution.

John Ledbetter, MBA

Creative Director and Video Editor

Entrepreneur, Videographer, Photographer, Storyteller, Investor. Those are just a few words to describe the versatility of John Ledbetter, MBA. John is the principal and creative director of Sun Chase Media – a full-service, innovative branding firm that specializes in helping major corporations, small businesses, creative artists and non-profit organizations to connect with their audiences through creative video content that sells and brings stories to life. He has served an impressive roster of clients to include the CIA, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, American Family Insurance, Because of Them We Can, Boeing, National Institute of Health, HP, Cook Ross, AmeriHealth and more.

John has also had the honor of capturing the genius of some our country’s top influencers, thought leaders, politicians, sports stars and music artists including, but not limited to, President Barack Obama, Congressman John Lewis, California Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Cory Booker, Van Jones, Kevin Durant, Wolf Blitzer, Daymond John, Sheila Johnson, John Deere, Eric Holder, Robin Thicke, Trey Songz and many many more!

Quincy Ledbetter

Creative Consultant / Filmmaker / Artist

Quincy Ledbetter is a filmmaker specializing in directing and writing narrative films and television. His determination and resourcefulness in crafting innovative stories have led audiences to describe his work as unlike anything they’ve seen before.

In 2024, Quincy was inducted into the DGA’s Director Development Initiative Mentorship Program, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of television directors.

Quincy wrote, directed, and composed the score for his feature film debut, ALIEU THE DREAMER, released in 2020 through BET Films and Paramount Players.

His follow-up, THE BLACK DISQUISITION, a rotoscope-animated short, won numerous accolades, including Best Animated Film and Best Director. The film was exhibited at several museums, including the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, and was distributed by Black Public Media. His latest film, BRAND NEW, has screened at multiple Academy-qualifying film festivals, including HollyShorts, Urbanworld, and the Austin Film Festival. Among numerous nominations, the film won the Audience Award for International Narrative Short at the ShortShorts Film Festival in Tokyo, Japan. Quincy has also excelled as a documentary filmmaker for esteemed organizations such NPR, Time, Vox Media, and the New York Times, Meta/Instagram among others.

Quincy and his partner, Yuki Maekawa-Ledbetter, co-founded ML-NEBULA a production company focused on creating a safe and open environment for filmmakers and artists to thrive, dedicated to changing the paradigm of the entertainment industry.
