BLACK CHURCH P.A.C.
DEE-1 IN-MARKET PRESS DAY
One Day, One Voice, Multiple Opportunities
OUR TASK
As part of the Black Church PAC’s 100K Strong: Knock for Change, Vote for Justice initiative, CNBetter Media was engaged to elevate rapper and activist Dee-1 as a credible cultural spokesperson supporting voter mobilization efforts.
Dee-1 was scheduled to appear in Atlanta in support of the campaign, and the objective was to ensure his presence translated into maximum visibility, meaningful media engagement, and long-term positioning—not just a single appearance.
CNBetter Media was tasked with designing and executing a full-scale press day that aligned Dee-1’s message with the broader civic mission while reaching diverse audiences across radio, digital, television, and social platforms.
OUR SOLUTION
We executed a strategic, tightly coordinated in-market press strategy that positioned Dee-1 as both an artist and an activist—authentic, articulate, and culturally grounded.
Press Day Strategy & Execution
- Designed and secured a full Atlanta press itinerary, spanning radio, digital media, and broadcast platforms.
- Coordinated all logistics, scheduling, messaging alignment, and interview prep to ensure a cohesive narrative across outlets.
- Positioned Dee-1 as a thoughtful, values-driven voice speaking to civic responsibility, culture, and community engagement.
Media Relations & Placement
- Secured interviews and features across high-reach Atlanta media outlets, including radio and digital platforms with strong cultural influence.
- Extended press engagement beyond local media through national digital placements, increasing reach and credibility.
Extended Visibility & Editorial Win
As a direct result of our strategic pitching and in-market execution, CNBetter Media secured a major editorial opportunity for Dee-1:
- Rolling Out Magazine cover feature, elevating him from campaign participant to national thought leader
- Full cover story amplified Dee-1’s voice, mission, and alignment with the broader movement
This placement provided lasting visibility well beyond the original campaign window.
OUR RESULTS
- Executed a successful full-day press tour in Atlanta
- Secured coverage across radio, digital, and broadcast outlets
- Achieved a national magazine cover and feature with Rolling Out
- Strengthened Dee-1’s positioning as a trusted cultural and civic voice
- Delivered sustained visibility that extended beyond the event itself
Through strategic planning, disciplined execution, and strong media relationships, CNBetter Media transformed Dee-1’s Atlanta appearance into a high-impact visibility moment with lasting value.
This case study highlights our ability to take one voice, one day, and one opportunity—and turn it into meaningful exposure, elevated positioning, and long-term credibility.
