BLACK CHURCH P.A.C.
INFLUENCER MOBILIZATION CAMPAIGN
Mobilizing a Mission through Influence and Action
OUR TASK
As the 2024 presidential election approached, the Black Church PAC sought to expand its Vote or Else voter mobilization efforts beyond physical communities and into the digital space—without compromising trust, credibility, or nonpartisan integrity.
CNBetter Media was asked to design and execute a large-scale influencer mobilization campaign that would encourage voter participation across diverse audiences nationwide. While influencer engagement was not part of the original scope, the urgency and potential impact of the moment required immediate action.
The objective was clear:
Activate trusted voices to encourage people to go to the polls—regardless of who they voted for—and do so at speed, at scale, and with message discipline during one of the most sensitive election cycles in modern history.
OUR SOLUTION
CNBetter Media built and executed a nonpartisan, values-driven influencer campaign designed to mobilize audiences responsibly while maintaining message clarity and cultural resonance.
Strategic Influencer Procurement
- Leveraged long-standing relationships to secure high-profile celebrities, artists, and cultural influencers who held credibility with Black and underserved communities.
- Focused on voices trusted for authenticity—not controversy—ensuring alignment with the campaign’s civic mission.
Campaign Design & Messaging
- Developed a clear campaign framework that allowed influencers to speak in their own voice, while staying aligned with a unified call-to-action.
- Each participant created a short-form video (60–90 seconds) encouraging audiences to vote and directing them to official voter resources.
- Messaging remained intentionally nonpartisan, centering civic responsibility, access, and empowerment.
Rapid Scaling Under Pressure
- Initially contracted with a $50,000 influencer budget, CNBetter Media successfully secured and managed 34 influencers in the first phase of execution.
- Due to the campaign’s early momentum and strong performance, the partnering organization approved an additional $50,000, allowing CNBetter Media to expand the campaign further.
- Final execution included 40+ influencers and celebrities, all onboarded, contracted, briefed, and activated within a highly compressed timeline.
Full-Cycle Campaign Management
- Handled influencer outreach, negotiations, contracting, content tracking, posting schedules, and reporting.
- Maintained quality control across platforms while allowing for authentic, audience-specific delivery.
OUR RESULTS
The Vote or Else Influencer Mobilization Campaign became one of the most impactful components of the Black Church PAC’s 2024 election work:
- 40+ celebrities and influencers activated
- Nationwide reach across multiple social platforms
- Strong engagement driven by trusted voices encouraging civic participation
- Campaign performance exceeded client expectations, resulting in expanded budget approval mid-campaign
- Delivered scalable, repeatable influencer infrastructure for future initiatives
By stepping beyond scope and into strategy, CNBetter Media transformed a late-stage need into a high-impact digital mobilization effort.
The Vote or Else Influencer Campaign proved that when influencer engagement is rooted in trust, clarity, and cultural fluency, it can move people to action—without sacrificing integrity. This activation reinforced the Black Church PAC’s mission while showcasing CNBetter Media’s ability to scale influencer campaigns quickly, responsibly, and effectively during moments that matter most.
